Who Are Element?
Element are an Online tutoring platform, that deliver education to a variety of ages.
Below we have listed a set of rules we follow regarding data: how we handle it, regulate it, what information we keep, how you have the choice to access it, delete it, update it and control it.
Type of information
We hold personal information of our customers that they give to us for lessons to go ahead. This is information such as phone numbers, e-mail addresses and names of clients.
Personal information Element collects
Once you register with Element your email address along with your username is stored on our databases. In addition, we require the following data at a minimum to complete registration with our service:
-Your full name and title
-Your phone number
-Your physical address including postcode and town of residence
-Your Date of Birth
-Further optional information you can provide
A tutees account will provide;
-Subjects and level you wish to be taught
-General information about what you are seeking help in
-Your availability
-Current school including their exam board, predicted/target grades.
-Your payment details
For a tutor account, we store the following further personal information, these data items include;
-Subjects the tutor teaches, including their rates per hour.
-The tutors' gender, personal statement, availability, qualifications and experience
-Photo identification (accepted documents are either a passport or driving license)
-A DBS document
-A proof of address document
-Contact Details of at least two references, with the referee responses to our questionnaire
-Profile photos
-The tutors' native spoken language
-Your bank details
